Starting point

What we found

My First Book sells Montessori fabric books. In stores they sell very well, but online the explanation and the trust were missing.

  1. Parents could not see at a glance which age a book is meant for.

BeforeThe age selection received almost 20% of all clicks on the category page.Source: Heatmap of the category page (desktop), February 2026

    Why people react this way
Parents first look for what matches their child's stage of development, and only then for the motif.
    What is different now
The menu now leads first by the child's age, then by topics such as "Natur & Tiere" (nature and animals).
  2. Parents did not understand what "Montessori" means for their child.

BeforeThe term stood on the homepage and the product page without explanation.Source: Page review, February 2026

    Why people react this way
A technical term only convinces when parents see what their child gets out of it.
    What is different now
The homepage now explains Montessori through four effects, from motor skills to concentration.
  3. Hardly anyone saw the awards, and those who did had no idea what they were for.

BeforeOnly 30% reached the section with the awards on the homepage.Source: Heatmap of the homepage (desktop), February 2026

    Why people react this way
An award only builds trust when it is clear who gave it and for what.
    What is different now
The German Toy Award now sits right next to the hero image, and further down experts in education and sleep counseling have their say.

Result

What changed

Parents now find books by age and topic, and the homepage explains what their child learns while playing.
